Hyperliquid Boosts Token Buying Strategy to $2.5 Billion Amid Share Shortage
Hyperliquid Strategies, a Nasdaq-listed company, has expanded its equity facility with Chardan Capital Markets to $2.5 billion from $1 billion.
The move is part of the company's strategy to build a treasury of HYPE tokens using equity sales.
According to Hyperliquid's annual report, the company raised at least $763.7 million through June 30 and another $117.1 million after quarter-end.
This leaves no more than about $236.3 million before aggregate sales reach $1 billion.
Once the facility reaches its $1 billion limit, the issue price becomes decisive in determining whether a sale can be completed.
