Hyperliquid Data Boosts TradingView Aggregated Derivatives Metrics
TradingView has expanded its aggregated derivative metrics to include data from Hyperliquid, the largest derivatives decentralized exchange (DEX). This change affects over 170 crypto assets across three key metrics: open interest, funding rate, and liquidations.
The addition of Hyperliquid's data significantly impacts these numbers, with Bitcoin's open interest rising by roughly a tenth. Liquidations for most assets have climbed by up to a fifth, while some assets now have derivatives listed in the aggregate for the first time.
Open interest and funding rate include Hyperliquid data since September 2025, while liquidations are accounted for from May 2025. These metrics are calculated by converting each derivative's open interest and liquidations to dollars and then summing them across all exchanges. The funding rate is a weighted average based on each exchange's open interest.
The updated aggregated metrics can be accessed through various features on TradingView, including indicators, the screener, heatmap, and symbol pages.
