Hyperliquid Perpetuals Clear Path into US Market via Regulated Partnership
A US-based partnership between Hyperliquid and Kraken's parent company Payward will soon make it possible for Americans to trade Hyperliquid perpetual futures through a regulated interface.
The platform, which is currently blocked from the US market due to derivatives regulations, has seen growing demand worldwide with its total value locked rising to $6.7 billion since 2023 and handling about 9% of the world's open perpetual positions.
To comply with US regulations, users will need to have their accounts cleared by both NinjaTrader Clearing broker and Bitnomial, all of which are CFTC-regulated and owned by Payward. The partnership is awaiting approval from the CFTC before releasing more operational details.
