Hyperliquid Prepares to Unstake $415M Worth of HYPE Over Next Seven Days

A significant unstaking event is scheduled for the Hyperliquid network over the next seven days. Approximately $415 million worth of HYPE tokens, totaling 6.93 million units, will be released from the platform's staking mechanism during this period.

The largest single-day unstaking event in Hyperliquid's history is expected on July 30, with around 3.30 million HYPE tokens, valued at $197.53 million at current prices, set to be unstaked. This release coincides with a recent decline in the token's market price.

HYPE has seen an 8.5% drop over the past 24 hours and was trading at $54.94 at the time of writing. Market participants closely monitor large-scale unstaking events, as they can potentially increase the number of tokens available for transfer or sale, although it does not necessarily indicate that holders intend to sell.
