Hyperliquid Strategies Continues Buying Spree with Latest HYPE Token Purchase
Hyperliquid Strategies, a treasury firm, has continued its buying spree of Hyperliquid (HYPE) tokens. The latest purchase adds 494,200 HYPE tokens to its portfolio, worth $45.8 million.
This acquisition is part of a month-long run where the company has bought over 5.51 million HYPE tokens, worth $476 million. This averages out to approximately 183,574 tokens or $15.86 million per day.
As a result, Hyperliquid Strategies now holds 35.1 million HYPE tokens, valued at around $3.2 billion. This is up from the 29.3 million tokens it held when its fiscal year closed on June 30.
The company's net income for the fiscal year was $305.5 million, largely driven by gains in the price of HYPE. Unrealized gains on its holdings reached $709.9 million, according to its full-year profit report.
