Hyperliquid Trader Boosts ETH Longs Amid Market Decline
A large trader on Hyperliquid has made significant changes to their portfolio during a market decline. On September 28, this trader added nearly $12 million to leveraged long positions. The majority of the new capital went towards Ether (ETH), with over 60% of it being directed at this asset.
The trader bought 2,750 ETH at an average price of approximately $2,684, resulting in a position worth around $7.38 million. They also acquired 25 Bitcoin (BTC) at an average of $83,689, bringing the total value to about $2.09 million. Additionally, they increased their Solana (SOL) position by 20,000 tokens at an average price of $121.60, spending around $2.43 million.
However, it's worth noting that the trader closed their entire SOL holding after this purchase. They still hold leveraged long positions totaling 325 BTC and 4,250 ETH, with these combined positions having a total unrealized loss of about $600,000. Despite this, Ether remains the main focus of the trader's latest positioning.
