Hyperliquid Trader Closes Out $233M BTC Long Position for $8.5M Profit
A Hyperliquid trader has closed out 1,000 BTC long positions at $87,142 for an impressive profit of $8.52 million.
The trade was opened in late August with a position size of $233 million and had initially generated $15.57 million in unrealized gains before the recent market drop.
However, following the decline, the trader's remaining 400 BTC plus 50,000 ETH are now sitting at a floating loss of $3.39 million, highlighting the volatility of the cryptocurrency markets.
A technical analysis suggests that Bitcoin may be due for a healthy retracement towards its EMA50 support level at $80,761.98 before continuing its upward trend.
