Hyperliquid Trader Cuts $31 Million in Altcoin Longs, Shifts to Short Bets

A high-profile trader known as 'Hyperliquid' has made significant changes to their altcoin positions, cutting $31.1 million in longs and shifting to short-term bearish bets. This move resulted in approximately $1.25 million in losses for the trader.

The specific assets that were exited from long positions include Zcash (ZEC), NEAR, Uniswap (UNI), HYPE, PUMP, ENA, AERO, ONDO, SKY, and PENGU. Notably, PUMP was the only position to produce a small profit during this time.

Following the closure of the ZEC long, the trader opened a short position, with an unrealized gain of approximately $291,000 from their remaining exposure in ZEC. The NEAR short was valued at around $1.47 million, with an unrealized gain of about $24,000.
