Hyperliquid Trims Gains Amid Institutional Outflows, Eyes $100 Rebound
Hyperliquid (HYPE) has pared its gains from the previous day, trimming its 5% increase to just 2% at press time on Thursday. This is due in part to $5 million in outflows from institutional investors on Wednesday.
The technical outlook for HYPE remains mixed as it trades below $90. Despite this, momentum indicators suggest a broader uptrend, with the Relative Strength Index (RSI) retreating back to its midline and the Moving Average Convergence Divergence (MACD) maintaining an uptrend after crossing above its signal line the previous day.
Looking up, a potential rebound from the 50-period Exponential Moving Average (EMA) could extend HYPE's recovery toward the $98.03 record high. If this occurs, it could even claim the $100 milestone, extending the price-discovery mode.
