Hyperliquid Unleashes Manual Borrowing: HYPE Token Hits Record High
Hyperliquid, a decentralised finance platform, launched its manual borrowing feature on September 18th. Users can now pledge HYPE or Bitcoin as collateral to borrow USDC or USDT stablecoins.
The first day saw $269 million borrowed in stablecoins, with the HYPE token climbing to a record high above $90.
The borrowing terms differ by collateral type: HYPE holders can borrow up to 65% of their token value, while Bitcoin collateral caps at 50%.
