Hyperliquid Unveils HyperCore Manual Lending on Testnet

Hyperliquid has rolled out its HyperCore manual lending feature on testnet, marking an important step in the development of its lending infrastructure.

The manual lending capability allows developers and users to interact with lending functions in a controlled environment. This is done through CoreWriter and read-only precompile contracts that enable HyperEVM smart contracts to access lending functions.

This testnet deployment does not yet signal an immediate change to live trading conditions, as all lending functions on the mainnet remain restricted to portfolio margin mode.

The launch of manual lending on testnet is part of a broader trend in decentralized finance (DeFi) where protocols are testing new features in sandboxed environments to ensure security and efficiency.
