Hyperscale Data Sells 100 Bitcoin to Fuel Michigan AI Campus Expansion
Hyperscale Data has made significant strides in its Michigan AI campus project by selling approximately 100 Bitcoin for $6.48 million. This capital injection will be directed towards equipment purchases, site development, and other long-lead infrastructure needs.
The initial services agreement covers about 20 megawatts of critical compute capacity at the Michigan campus, with a potential total revenue of over $1.2 billion in contract value over ten years.
Hyperscale Data also established a Bitcoin-backed credit facility for additional project funding, offering variable interest rates between 4.5% and 5.0%. This financing structure reduces reliance on short-term share sales or expensive debt financing, allowing the company to maintain substantial Bitcoin ownership while limiting dilution.
