Hyperscale Data has sold approximately 685 Bitcoin for around $43 million. The company will use this cash to reduce its debt by about $30 million and strengthen its liquidity to support the buildout of a data center in Michigan.

The sale does not mark a departure from Hyperscale's long-term strategy, which involves accumulating Bitcoin. In fact, the company plans to continue mining Bitcoin and eventually increase its holdings over time.

'Bitcoin has been an important part of Hyperscale Data's strategy and we expect it to remain an important part of our strategy going forward,' stated Milton 'Todd' Ault III, Executive Chairman of Hyperscale Data. 'We intend to continue mining Bitcoin and, over time, expect to use mining production and available capital to rebuild and increase our Bitcoin position.'
