Hyperscale Data Tops Its Own Market Cap with $51M in Digital Assets
Hyperscale Data, a company listed on the NYSE American exchange under the ticker GPUS, has made an intriguing disclosure about its digital assets. As of September 13, the firm's combined Bitcoin, cash, and restricted cash holdings total approximately $51 million.
This figure is remarkable because it exceeds the company's own market capitalization by a significant margin, around 136% to be exact. The math behind this calculation makes value investors take notice.
The breakdown of Hyperscale Data's digital assets reveals that it holds 216.9480 BTC, valued at roughly $16.7 million using a Bitcoin price of $76,838.16 per coin. The remaining $34.3 million is held in cash and restricted cash, providing the company with a substantial liquidity cushion.
This treasury affords Hyperscale Data a strong position as it pursues AI infrastructure projects while engaging in Bitcoin mining operations through its Sentinum subsidiary. Notably, the company has also been actively managing its digital assets, in late August, it sold approximately 65 BTC for around $5.1 million to pay down debt.
