Hyperscale Sells 686 Bitcoin to Clear Loans Amid Liquidity Concerns
Hyperscale Data, a company that invests in Bitcoin (BTC), has sold 686 BTC to clear its loans on Morpho, a decentralized lending protocol. The sale generated approximately $43.4 million in proceeds.
The company used part of the funds to repay all of its Bitcoin-backed loans on Morpho, which totals around $16 million and had a carrying value of about $25.4 million as of June 30.
Although this resolves one source of financing pressure, Hyperscale's available liquidity is not expected to cover operating requirements, obligations, and planned capital expenditures for the next 12 months. This raises doubts about its ability to continue as a going concern.
