Hyperscale Trims Bitcoin Holdings Amid Data Center Funding Pressures

Hyperscale Data, Inc., a NYSE-listed company, has trimmed its Bitcoin holdings. In July, it had increased its stake to over $70 million but now holds approximately $61 million worth of BTC as of August 2.

The company sold about 150.5 BTC while its subsidiary Ault Capital Group bought around 15 BTC on the open market last week. This move is part of Hyperscale's strategy to maintain a long-term Bitcoin position, using it as collateral for short-term flexibility in funding data center operations.

Milton 'Todd' Ault III, Executive Chairman of Hyperscale Data, aims to generate significant cash flow this year and next by leveraging its Bitcoin holdings. The company plans to build a $100 million digital asset treasury and achieve parity between its Bitcoin holdings and market value.
