ICEBAR Stockholm Hosts 'BEYOND THE EXTREME' Digital Art and Music Event

Stockholm's ICEBAR by ICEHOTEL hosted an immersive digital art and music event, 'BEYOND THE EXTREME,' on September 11, 2026. The evening brought together Chinese intangible cultural heritage (ICH) and esports in a cutting-edge AI-driven audiovisual experience.

The event, organized by Perfect World Digital Art, used the Arctic ice setting as a bridge between Nordic landscapes and Eastern cultural heritage. Traditional music from China was reinterpreted through the lens of esports and AI, with live performances that preserved authentic musical textures and cultural essence.

A key highlight was the ICH × Esports × AI audiovisual performance created by Perfect World Digital Art in collaboration with vrch.io. This featured real-time visuals generated through Agentic VJ system evolving dynamically with the music, merging sound, light, and space within the ice environment.
