Inflation Data Sparks Frenzied Whale Activity Across Crypto Market
A recent surge in whale activity has been observed in the cryptocurrency market following the release of inflation data. One notable transaction involved a Fireblocks-linked custody wallet sending $19.4 million worth of Trump-backed $USD1 stablecoin to Binance within the last hour, bringing the total amount transferred to approximately $149.8 million over 13 days.
Another significant movement came from a large crypto investor who had been inactive for four months but has now re-entered the market. The whale withdrew 116,490 $HYPE tokens worth around $9.6 million from OKX in a transaction that has sparked interest about potential new positioning in $HYPE.
On the Chainlink front, both institutional and project-based accumulation continues with Grayscale's GLNK ETF acquiring an additional 203,810 $LINK, worth approximately $2.38 million via Coinbase Prime.
