Infosys and Chainlink Unite to Democratize Institutional Onchain Finance
Infosys and Chainlink have entered into a strategic partnership to expand institutional access to onchain finance. The collaboration combines Infosys' financial-services technology and consulting capabilities with LINK's blockchain infrastructure, including interoperability, compliance, data, and reserve-verification tools.
The partnership aims to connect over 1.7 billion accounts via the Finacle banking platform, giving it a large enterprise-technology base. The companies will focus on tokenized assets, payments and settlement, interoperable financial-market infrastructure, and other digital-asset applications.
Chainlink's services, including CCIP, Chainlink Runtime Environment, Automated Compliance Engine, Proof of Reserve, Data Streams, and Data Feeds, are being standardized for adoption by institutional clients. These tools address different parts of institutional blockchain infrastructure, from cross-chain messaging and data delivery to compliance and verification.
The partnership is significant as it enables financial institutions to operate across multiple systems and jurisdictions. LINK's platform has enabled tens of trillions of dollars in transaction value and is used by major financial institutions and market infrastructures.
