Infosys Partnership Boosts Chainlink's Enterprise Potential

Chainlink's (LINK) partnership with Infosys has sparked interest due to its potential scale. The digital banking infrastructure provided by Infosys Finacle reportedly serves over 1.7 billion accounts worldwide.

The collaboration aims to integrate Chainlink services and the Chainlink Runtime Environment into the Infosys Finacle Digital Assets platform, making it easier for financial institutions to incorporate blockchain-based assets and services with conventional banking systems.

However, a closer look reveals that the announcement lacks specific details on bank deployments or implementation timelines. The 1.7 billion-account figure is more representative of possible distribution than instant adoption.

On-chain activity data from Santiment indicates that new LINK addresses were added on September 22, but the number was not particularly remarkable, and the overall trend appears to be a little stronger, with LINK gaining about 60% since August 1.
