Injective Co-Founder Predicts U.S. INJ ETFs by 2027 Amid Strong Crypto Demand
Injective co-founder Eric Chen has predicted that U.S. exchange-traded funds (ETFs) tracking the INJ token could launch before 2027. Chen’s optimism reflects the growing institutional interest in crypto assets, following significant inflows into Bitcoin ETFs in recent months.
In September, Bitcoin ETFs saw $2.65 billion in net inflows, marking the second-largest monthly inflow since October 2025. This surge in institutional demand highlights the ongoing bullish sentiment despite Bitcoin struggling to break above $84,000. The ETF market continued to attract investors, recording $31 million in net inflows on September 28, extending a multi-day streak of positive institutional demand.
However, the trend was not universal. Bitcoin ETFs experienced a $148.7 million net outflow, ending a nine-day inflow streak worth approximately $3.1 billion. Fidelity’s FBTC led the withdrawals, indicating some volatility in investor behavior. Meanwhile, XRP funds topped $1 billion, showcasing diversified interest in altcoins.
Other notable developments include TRON DAO ringing the closing bell at Cboe to celebrate the listing of TRXS, the staked TRX ETF launched by Canary Capital. Bitwise also launched its NEAR ETF (NRR) on NYSE Arca, becoming the first spot ETP on NEAR in the United States. Additionally, Grayscale’s Zcash ETF announced a 3-for-1 forward share split after attracting $233 million in inflows since its August launch.
