Injective Expands Ecosystem with Staked ETF Filing and Trench Treasury Launch
Injective is making significant strides with two major developments aimed at boosting its ecosystem and attracting institutional interest. Canary Capital has filed with the SEC for a staked INJ ETF, which, if approved, could offer exposure to Injective while covering operational expenses and liabilities. The ETF is expected to launch before 2027, according to Injective’s CEO, Erick Chen. This move positions INJ for greater institutional exposure, particularly as spot ETFs gain momentum in the market.
In parallel, the Injective Foundation has launched the Trench Treasury, an initiative designed to support small builders and projects within its ecosystem. The Trench Treasury aims to fund projects that contribute to organic growth, fair launches, and real liquidity, while rewarding loyal contributors. Unlike traditional funds, this initiative focuses on encouraging new builds rather than simply funding more projects.
Despite these positive developments, Injective’s market momentum remains weak. The altcoin has been consolidating between $7.5 and $7.7, with bearish indicators like the Moving Average Convergence Divergence (MACD) and Stochastic (Stoch) suggesting potential downside pressure. If the trend continues, INJ could drop to $7.1. However, if the staked ETF and Trench Treasury spur demand, the coin could break through $7.7 resistance and move above $8.
