Injective Powers First Onchain Trade Finance Pilot with POSCO International and LG CNS
Injective has successfully completed its first onchain trade finance pilot with South Korea's largest trading company, POSCO International, and LG CNS. The project demonstrates Injective's capabilities in tokenizing real commercial activity, issuing programmable, permissioned assets onchain, and embedding compliance controls into the infrastructure.
The pilot used AI agents to review Letters of Credit and trade documents before receivables were issued onchain. This marks a significant step towards modernizing one of the world's largest financial markets, which currently supports over $5 trillion in annual financing globally.
Injective is now an SEC-registered transfer agent, making it the first layer 1 blockchain to combine native RWA infrastructure with regulated recordkeeping. The network has also brought over $1 billion in real estate mortgages onchain and plans to expand its footprint across various asset types.
