Injective Sees Record $214.9 Million in Real-World Asset Trading Volume

Injective gives traders exposure to real-world assets through perpetual futures markets, which track prices using oracles and settle in USDC. These markets don't require holding the underlying shares or metals.

The platform supports two types of real-world assets: distributed and represented. Distributed assets can move freely between wallets, while represented assets are recorded onchain but not traded. As of September 28, RWA.xyz listed one represented asset worth $1,060,956,793 with two holders.

Most stock trading on Injective uses perpetual futures, which give leveraged exposure to stocks and commodities settled in USDC. The maximum leverage is 25x, but higher leverage increases the risk of liquidation. Injective's oracle feed updates prices about every two seconds for selected U.S. stocks.
