Ink Foundation Unveils Charter Framework to Streamline Crypto Token Launches
A new framework for launching crypto tokens has been unveiled by the Ink Foundation and its partners. The Charter Foundation aims to simplify the process of token launches, which can be costly and time-consuming.
According to Charter, its structure can cut upfront costs by more than half compared to traditional setups that can exceed $100,000. This is especially significant as token launches have declined in recent times, with crypto investors increasingly favoring equity structures.
The initiative comes as the crypto market enters a new cycle, and experts believe that now is the time to prepare for renewed demand. 'Crypto markets are cyclical, and the best time to build for the next wave of demand is often before it arrives,' said John Wu, counsel at Ink Foundation and principal architect of Charter.
The Charter Foundation model creates a dedicated Cayman Islands exempted company that can later become an independent foundation, streamlining the process and reducing costs. This standardization of legal structures preserves separation and independence while making token launches more accessible to developers.
