Institutional Capital Floods Crypto Market with $6.7 Billion

Instruments

Institutional investors have injected $6.7 billion into the cryptocurrency market over the past 30 days, according to BIT, formerly known as Matrixport. This marks a significant shift in market dynamics, as the cryptocurrency market experienced a net capital outflow of approximately $13 billion in June.

The data suggests that institutional capital is beginning to redirect itself towards crypto assets. The calculation includes Strategy's Bitcoin purchases, net inflows into spot Bitcoin ETFs, and new stablecoin issuances. A combined assessment of these indicators indicates a net buying trend after significant capital outflows in June.

BIT stated that the improvement in capital inflows has supported the recent recovery in market sentiment. The return of institutional funds to the market is contributing to limiting downward movements in the Bitcoin price and creating support at certain levels.
