Institutional Demand for Crypto Remains Strong Despite Volatile Prices
The Bitcoin ETF inflows reached $2.65 billion in September, making it the second-best month since October 2025. This shows that institutional buyers are still adding exposure to crypto despite wobbly prices throughout the summer and early fall.
This figure is below August's record-breaking $3.52 billion but remains above most of the past year's monthly averages. Spot ether ETFs also saw significant inflows in September, totaling $832.43 million, their second-best month since August 2025.
According to Dominick John, an analyst at Zeus Research, these numbers indicate that institutional demand 'has not faded,' suggesting a more lasting recovery rather than a brief uptick. He views the ETF inflow figures as evidence that large investors are still treating dips as buying opportunities rather than exits.
