Institutional Rotation Drives Altcoin Surge as Bitcoin Struggles
Bitcoin (BTC) and Ethereum (ETH) are stuck in a rut, unable to break free from their current price ranges.
In contrast, institutional infrastructure altcoins like Quant (QNT), The Graph (GRT), and Chainlink (LINK) have seen significant gains over the past days.
The reason for this rotation is largely attributed to the growing adoption of Quant's technology by major financial institutions.
Quant builds a platform that enables banks to move money and assets across different blockchain systems without switching platforms, which has caught the attention of prominent players in the industry.
The Clearing House, a bank-owned network handling trillions of dollars in daily U.S. payments, recently partnered with Quant to power its new system for moving bank deposits on-chain.
Analyst Greg Lunt pointed out that real banks and institutions are already using Quant's technology, including software giant Oracle and central banks like the Bank of England and European Central Bank.
