Institutional Rotation Fuels Ethereum Price Surge
Ethereum's price has shown renewed strength as institutional investors increase their exposure to the cryptocurrency. According to recent fund flows, Ethereum-focused investment products have recorded $20 million in inflows, while Bitcoin-based exchange-traded funds witnessed around $60 million in net outflows.
This shift suggests that some institutional investors are shifting their allocations towards Ethereum, which is also growing its reach across decentralized finance (DeFi), stablecoin settlements, and tokenized real-world assets. These areas are among the fastest-expanding sectors in the digital asset market.
Whale transactions on the network have highlighted active accumulation, with a major wallet withdrawing 40,000 ETH worth nearly $76.6 million from Binance in one transaction. This is considered a positive signal as it reduces the immediately available supply for selling and may indicate longer-term accumulation.
