Institutional Support for BTC Remains Strong Despite ETF Outflows

OKX has released a statement to clarify that outflows from Bitcoin (BTC) exchange-traded funds (ETFs) do not necessarily indicate institutions are leaving cryptocurrency. The platform cites data showing that institutions continue to invest in BTC.

The statement notes that while there have been significant outflows from certain ETFs, these funds often serve as a conduit for institutional investors to buy and sell BTC on traditional markets.

This means that even if an ETF experiences an outflow, it does not necessarily mean that the underlying asset, in this case, BTC, has lost institutional support. In fact, OKX points out that institutions continue to invest in BTC, with many still holding large positions in the cryptocurrency.
