Institutional investors are accumulating Bitcoin and Ether as tokenized stocks and banks' on-chain infrastructure emerge as new market variables.

According to blockchain outlet U.Today, BitMine increased its Ethereum holdings to 6,001,302 ETH, which is about 4.9 percent of total ether supply. Strategy also expanded its Bitcoin holdings to 847,666 BTC after spending $138 million to buy an additional 1,666 Bitcoins at an average price of $85,681.

The market's center of gravity is shifting towards Bitcoin and Ether as institutional money absorbs spot supply. The macroeconomic calendar could raise short-term volatility with key data releases in the United States, including the Job Openings and Labor Turnover Survey, gross domestic product, and nonfarm payrolls.
