Institutions, Governments, and ETFs Join Ranks of Major Bitcoin Holders
The landscape of major Bitcoin holders is undergoing significant changes according to Jordan Kerridge. Initially, discussions focused on retail adoption, but now there's a growing presence of ETFs, institutions, companies, and governments among Bitcoin holders.
Kerridge suggests that Bitcoin is transitioning from a niche asset to one that traditional finance must increasingly acknowledge.
In recent times, Kerridge reported on spot Bitcoin ETFs recording over $220 million of inflows after a period of sustained outflows. Additionally, nearly 47% of Bitcoin supply was held at an unrealized loss, a trend commonly seen during bear markets.
