Institutions Ride Out Crypto Price Crashes

A recent study by Bitwise has found that institutions have been holding onto their crypto assets even through significant price drawdowns.

The research, which analyzed data from over 100 publicly-traded companies that hold cryptocurrencies on their balance sheets, revealed that these firms held onto their coins throughout the 2018 bear market, which saw a 50% decline in prices.

This suggests that institutional investors are taking a long-term view of the cryptocurrency market and are not being deterred by short-term price fluctuations.
