Invest in Hollywood Hills Film and Earn Revenue Through NFTs
Hollywood Hills, a cosmic-horror film, is offering fans a unique opportunity to invest in its production through Republic, with the investment offering set to open on October 8. Backed by The Sandbox co-founders Arthur Madrid and Sébastien Borget, the project allows investors to share in the film's revenue, receive limited Villa NFTs, and participate in solving a mystery that may influence the story. The film, written and directed by Benjamin Rozovas, follows aspiring filmmaker Jenny and washed-up movie star Emil Lazar as they uncover Hollywood's darker side.
Investors can receive one of 3,000 Hollywood Hills Villa NFTs, illustrated by Steve Scott. Each Villa represents an address in the fictional Hills and contains a piece of evidence tied to the central mystery. Villa holders gain access to hidden clues, exclusive Discord content, behind-the-scenes production drops, and an investigation game called The Black Fire Archive. Higher-rarity Villas offer additional story and experiential perks, with some Legendary Villas potentially becoming part of the wider canon.
The investment tiers range from $200 to $100,000, with corresponding perks such as film end credits, early screenings, production artifacts, and even appearances in the film. Revenue rights are based on the amount invested, with investors receiving distributions until they reach 120% of their original investment. Beyond that, profits are split 50/50 between investors and producers.
The Hollywood Hills NFT collection is scheduled to launch on OpenSea on October 15. Investors are advised to be cautious of phishing links and copycat collections. The project combines film investment with interactive NFT perks, offering a unique blend of entertainment and financial participation.
