IOG YouTube Channel Hacked as Crypto Security Issues Mount
Cardano founder Charles Hoskinson warned his community that the official Input Output Global (IOG) YouTube channel has been compromised. He posted a warning on X, advising people not to click on any links or trust videos posted on the platform.
The team is working with YouTube to take down the channel and reset its credentials. At the time of writing, IOG's own X account had not mentioned the alleged compromise.
Hoskinson's warning comes during a rough stretch for crypto security, just days after a fintech's leaked data turned into a Bitcoin ransom demand. This incident highlights the importance of verifying information and being cautious when interacting with compromised social media accounts.
