Iole Completes ¥1 Billion Hype Token Acquisition as Part of Neo Crypto Bank Plan

Iole, a Tokyo Stock Exchange Growth Market-listed company, announced on August 31 that it had acquired additional Hyperliquid (HYPE) tokens worth approximately ¥89,935,336. This purchase is part of its efforts to implement the 'Neo Crypto Bank' concept, a next-generation financial infrastructure plan.

The acquisition was made between July 30 and August 31, with an average price per token of around ¥13,243.74. The total number of tokens acquired now stands at approximately 9,787.82 HYPE, with a cumulative value of ¥1 billion. The company had previously announced that it aimed to purchase a total of ¥1 billion worth of HYPE by the end of August.

Iole's CEO and Chairman, Yugo Takino, confirmed on X that the acquisition was completed as planned. He stated that this move is part of Iole's strategic efforts to strengthen its foundation for promoting on-chain financial services and Web3-related businesses.
