Escalating tensions between the United States and Iran have pushed oil prices higher, which in turn has strengthened the US dollar. This shift is putting pressure on Bitcoin, causing it to fall below $64,000.

The cryptocurrency dropped as low as $62,466 after failing to hold gains around the $65,000 level. At the time of the latest market snapshot, Bitcoin was trading near $63,155, down about 2.5% for the session.

A sustained break below the closely watched support zone around $62,000 could expose Bitcoin to a further slide toward $59,000, according to the technical setup described in the source analysis.
