Bank Leumi, Israel's largest financial institution, has partnered with Galaxy Digital Inc. to offer digital asset trading directly to its customers. The service will allow customers of Leumi and Pepper, the bank's mobile digital banking arm, to buy, hold, and sell Bitcoin, Ether, and Solana through a dedicated section of the Leumi Trade capital markets application.

The partnership is part of Bank Leumi's innovation strategy, which aims to provide customers with secure and regulated access to trading digital assets. Galaxy Digital will use its platform, GalaxyOne Institutional, for trading and related services, as well as its custody infrastructure platform to support the technical foundation behind the offering.

Galaxy Digital's CEO, Lior Lamesh, framed the collaboration as part of a broader institutional strategy, describing a single platform for trading and custody with institutional-grade security at its core. The partnership is expected to launch in early 2027 and marks a significant milestone for Israeli banking.
