Jake Claver Predicts $10,000 XRP by 2027 as XRP Asia Launches
Jake Claver, a vocal advocate for XRP, has reiterated his bold prediction that the cryptocurrency could hit $10,000 by late 2026 or early 2027. This projection comes as XRP Asia, a new initiative aimed at expanding the adoption of the XRP Ledger (XRPL) in the Asia-Pacific region, has officially launched. Claver’s forecast is significantly higher than other forecasts circulating among XRP enthusiasts, many of which suggest a more modest price target in the triple digits.
Claver’s optimism is grounded in a multi-phase strategy for XRP’s growth. He anticipates an initial surge to between $50 and $100, driven by organic demand and adoption by banks using XRP as a financial asset. Following this, he envisions a phase of institutional adoption, where banks would hold XRP on their balance sheets, leading to what he calls a “systemic administrative repricing.” This concept suggests that widespread acceptance could adjust the token’s valuation, though the specifics of how this would sustain long-term growth remain unclear.
The launch of XRP Asia, led by Sabrina Tachdjian, is designed to support the development of projects into viable businesses across the region. Initiatives include developer training, startup support, and connecting projects to funding opportunities. The effort aims to build on existing communities in Japan and Korea while expanding into the broader Asia-Pacific region. Earlier this year, Ripple announced plans to establish a regional hub through XRP Asia, with a local team dedicated to promoting adoption and distributing funding.
Claver acknowledges past missed targets, including an earlier prediction that XRP would reach $100 by the end of 2025. Despite criticism, he maintains his confidence in the cryptocurrency’s potential. He also points to potential issues with stablecoin liquidity, particularly involving Tether’s USDT, which could drive demand for XRP as an alternative. Claver’s vision includes XRP playing a key role in settling the global derivatives market, a move he believes could validate his “Crypto Phoenix” theory and propel the cryptocurrency toward the $10,000 mark.
