Jetking Faces Annual General Meeting Amid Share Listing Woes
Jetking Infotrain Ltd, an Indian IT training company that adopted Bitcoin as its primary treasury reserve asset, will hold its 42nd annual general meeting (AGM) on September 29, 2026. The AGM is the first since the Securities Appellate Tribunal (SAT) ruled against listing shares used to fund Jetking's last disclosed Bitcoin purchases.
The SAT ruling was made in May this year and stated that the shares issued before amending the objects clause cannot be listed on BSE. This has left existing shareholders diluted, while new shares remain untradeable, harming liquidity.
Jetking used ₹6.1 crore raised through a preferential issue to buy Bitcoin via CoinDCX in May 2025. However, BSE returned the listing application due to non-compliance with its VDA policy, stating that Jetking had deployed proceeds into virtual digital assets before amending the objects clause.
