Jetour Unveils Facelifted T2 in China with Major Upgrades

Jetour has unveiled the facelifted T2 in China, featuring major styling and technology upgrades. The refreshed SUV retains its boxy design but gets a new front end with round headlights connected by an LED light strip. The Jetour branding has been moved to the bonnet, and the bumpers have been redesigned with additional body-coloured elements.

The interior of the T2 has also seen some changes, including an upgraded infotainment system powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8255 processor and 24GB of RAM. The system features iFlytek Spark generative AI voice controls and comes with a 23-speaker surround-sound system.

The plug-in hybrid version of the T2 has been significantly updated, replacing its three-speed dedicated hybrid transmission with a single-speed system. Two LFP battery options are available, offering up to 108km or 173km of WLTP-rated electric range, respectively.

Jetour claims that the facelifted model has a combined driving range of up to 1,400km under the CLTC testing cycle. The updates come as the company is expanding its focus on local production and the Pakistani EV market, with the first locally assembled T2 i-DM rolling off the line earlier this month.
