Jito Surges 11.59% on SEC Staking Guidance Boost
Jito (JTO) saw a significant surge in trading interest after the SEC released new guidance on staking receipt tokens from liquid staking providers. This move is seen as a positive factor in strengthening JitoSOL's case for classification as a digital commodity, which could pave the way for its inclusion in staked Solana ETFs.
The uptrend in JTO is supported by trading volumes exceeding $129 million and $27 million in futures and spot markets respectively. Additionally, technical indicators such as the Moving Average Convergence Divergence (MACD) and Relative Strength Index (RSI) are showing continued strength, while momentum signals indicate a moderate trend acceleration.
However, overbought warnings arise from the Stochastic RSI at 100 and the Commodity Channel Index (CCI) at 235.036, suggesting short-term risks. Nevertheless, buyers remain dominant according to the Bull/Bear Power (BBP) reading of 0.1158.
