JPMorgan Tokenized T-Bill Products Soar Past $885M Market Cap
JPMorgan's tokenized US Treasury bill products have experienced significant growth, reaching a combined market capitalization of nearly $885 million. This represents a threefold increase from their value in late May.
The majority of this market capitalization comes from JLTXX, which holds about $782.2 million, or 88.4% of the total. MONY accounts for the remaining $102.4 million.
JPMorgan launched JLTXX in May, following its SEC filing, with a commitment of around $100 million of its own capital to the fund. Tokenization was enabled through its Kinexys Digital Assets platform.
The bank's first Ethereum-based tokenized fund, MONY, launched last December and issues restricted digital securities representing interests in money-market funds. These funds enable on-chain transfers and settlement, although key elements such as investor eligibility and transfer restrictions remain handled through traditional off-chain infrastructure.
