Jupiter Exchange Expands Perps Offerings with SPCX, HYPE, and ZEC Listings
Jupiter Exchange has expanded its offerings by launching perpetual futures markets for three new assets on Solana. The newly listed tokens include tokenized SpaceX equity (SPCX), Hyperliquid's native token (HYPE), and Zcash (ZEC). These markets offer up to 20x leverage with USDC as collateral, allowing traders to go long or short without holding the underlying asset.
The new contracts run on the GUM orderbook engine, a system distinct from Jupiter's original perpetual markets for SOL, ETH, and wBTC. Price feeds come from Chainlink oracles, and funding rates settle hourly rather than the eight-hour intervals common on centralized exchanges.
The tokenized SpaceX shares (SPCX) are particularly notable, as they represent a unique opportunity for retail investors to access SpaceX equity without traditional means. Hyperliquid's native token (HYPE), meanwhile, brings an element of cross-protocol intrigue, as it is essentially a competitor's token listed as a tradeable derivative.
