Justice Seizes $560K in Crypto Allegedly Bound for Hamas
U.S. Attorney Jeanine Ferris Pirro announced that federal investigators have seized over $560,000 in cryptocurrency, allegedly intended for Hamas.
The Department of Justice (DOJ) said this is a significant blow to the organization, which has been designated as a foreign terrorist entity by the U.S.
Prosecutors noted that the funds were seized under three unsealed warrants issued in March, June, and October 2025.
The DOJ claimed that the cryptocurrency was promoted through an encrypted group chat and a fundraising website, with donors given rotating addresses to move money outside of traditional financial systems.
