K-Pop Goes Tokenized: Soneium and DayOneDream Partner with WAVIST
Soneium and DayOneDream have partnered to develop tokenized K-pop intellectual property through WAVIST, an Ethereum layer 2 platform. The partnership aims to connect entertainment assets with structured financial products.
The companies announced their collaboration on September 28 but have not yet identified an initial artist or launch date for the project. Soneium is built on OP Stack and has been used by Sony Block Solutions Labs, while DayOneDream manages BTOB, Lee Chae Yeon, MEMI, and 2F.
WAVIST has already completed a tokenized intellectual-property bond in May 2026, demonstrating its capabilities. The platform lists products tied to concert, artist, and content intellectual property, including the $CNCRT Concert Fund, $ARTIST Artist Fund, and $CNTNT Content Fund.
