Kaiko Leads Crypto VC Funding with $110M Round
Crypto market data provider Kaiko led this week's VC funding with $110 million in a round backed by several major financial institutions. The investment, which was led by S&P Global, also included participation from BNP Paribas, Nasdaq, Royal Bank of Canada, Bpifrance, and Susquehanna.
Kaiko plans to use the capital to improve its data services and expand its product range. The company provides market data, indices, reference rates, and other services covering more than 150 crypto exchanges and decentralized protocols.
The week's total funding reached $180.25 million across nine deals. Fin.com raised $20 million in a seed round to expand its stablecoin-based cross-border payment infrastructure. dtcpay added $15 million to its Series A, bringing the company's combined funding to $25 million.
