Kalshi Bolsters Trade Surveillance Amid $36B NY Lawsuit

Share

Kalshi, a prediction market platform, has partnered with compliance technology provider Comply to enhance trade surveillance and address concerns from institutional clients. The integration will allow financial firms to monitor employee trading activity on Kalshi's platform, detecting potential conflicts of interest and material non-public information.

The partnership aims to extend monitoring capabilities to Kalshi's proposed perpetual futures products, placing prediction market contracts alongside traditional assets like stocks and cryptocurrencies under workplace trading controls.

Kalshi is currently facing a $36 billion lawsuit from the New York Attorney General, seeking damages, penalties, and other relief. The company removed the case from state court to federal district court, where it remains pending.
