Kamui Finance Brings Institutional-Grade RWA Access to Ethereum

Kamui Finance has launched three institutional-grade vaults on Ethereum to provide large allocators with streamlined access to tokenized real-world assets. The firm has partnered with four established RWA platforms - DigiFT, Centrifuge, Midas, and Ondo - to offer a range of asset classes including private credit, real estate debt, trade finance, structured credit, and US Treasuries.

The vaults issue their own tokens built to the ERC-7540 standard, which allows for asynchronous deposit and redemption flows. This is particularly useful for RWA platforms that require settlement times of days rather than instant atomic transactions.

Kamui Finance positions itself as an operator layer between investors and underlying assets, handling sourcing, due diligence, portfolio rebalancing, daily net asset value calculations, and compliance. The firm's team includes alumni from Goldman Sachs and other institutional finance backgrounds with experience in on-chain product development and institutional credit markets.
