KAS Price in Peril as Crypto Sell-Off and Clarity Act Setbacks Weigh Heavy
The price of KAS has taken a hit due to the recent crypto market sell-off. The token's value had recovered from its July 2024 low of $0.20, reaching as high as $0.38 in H2 2026 before slipping back below its 200-day EMA band by mid-September.
The latest decline was triggered by the failure of the U.S. Senate to advance the Digital Asset Market Clarity Act on September 15. The procedural cloture vote ended 49-50, falling short of the required 60 votes.
KAS price reacted similarly to the broader market, pushing its value back below the 200-day EMA. Now, it is caught between the 50-day and 200-day EMA bands, an uncomfortable setup that may lead to further selling pressure.
The major support level for KAS remains at $0.025, a multiyear low that the token price could revisit if selling continues. However, this demand area still serves as a significant downside barrier, potentially preventing a break below it.
